چکیده
Background: Dental aesthetic procedures aim to rectify flaws in dental elements’ shape, alignment, or overly dark color. One of the most common is tooth whitening. This study attempts introduce key aspects bleaching and describe different techniques mechanism action agents, focusing on clinical implications orthodontic composite restorations. In total, 57 papers were considered qualitative analysis review. Results: that both carbamide peroxide hydrogen clinically effective, although patients’ level sensitivity seemed be lessened by latter. However, latter appears more effective at reducing patient-experienced sensitivity. Conclusion: Carbamide based whitening shown equally successful treating discoloration after bracket removal, with no discernible differences them. To increase effectiveness composites, needed. achieve desired results avoid negative effects gels teeth soft tissue, patient-specific approach advised.

Tooth bleaching by different concentrations of carbamide peroxide and hydrogen peroxide whitening strips: an in vitro study.
OBJECTIVE To investigate the tooth whitening effects of various concentrations of carbamide peroxide (CP) gels and 6% hydrogen peroxide (HP) whitening strips used on an intrinsic, in vitro stain model in a simulated home-applied bleaching protocol. METHOD Extracted third molars were sectioned and stained to Vita shade C4 using a standardized tea solution. Stained specimens were then bleached ...

There has been recent concern about the inadvertent exposure of dentin with patent tubules as well as gingiva to bleaching systems containing 10-15% carbamide peroxide or 2-10% hydrogen peroxide for more than a few minutes. The aims of the present study were: (1) to determine the cytotoxicity of dilutions of hydrogen peroxide in cell culture; (2) to measure hydrogen peroxide diffusion from blea...
